Welcome to our OnPassive Review!
There has been some buzz about this company so we decided to investigate what it was all about…
Some say it’s a scam while others OnPassive reviews are saying legit so what is it?
The good news is we are going to walk you through the company, products and compensation plan so you can make the right decision.
Let’s dig into this OnPassive review…
OnPassive Review
As a potential member, it’s always advisable to be cautious and carry out as much research as possible on any offer you’re considering. This is because many organizations out there that want to convince you to spend your money with them are likely to paint a rosy and often biased picture of what truly exists. This can make it quite challenging to determine if the “business opportunity” is a scam or not. To make things even more tricky, you’re unlikely to find valuable and factual information on many websites.
That’s why we are committed to presenting you with as many reviews as possible.
By gathering relevant regulatory information from sources like the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) and comparing them with what these companies are claiming, we’re in a better position to help you determine if a scheme is a scam or not.
In this review, we’ll be examining the OnPassive company, its owner, and the products that they are offering. We’ll also look at the different compensation plans that OnPassive offers and how they claim you can make money.
Our approach is to make an unbiased assessment of the OnPassive opportunity with the hope that it is not a scam. Whatever the case, keep reading and you’ll find out the facts soon enough.
What is OnPassive?
Information from its website shows that OnPassive is still in its pre-launch stage. This implies that some of the information available now may change after they launch. How much it will change we can’t say for sure, but you can be assured that we will keep you updated with any new information.
What we know so far is that OnPassive offers its members an opportunity based on an MLM structure – members need to recruit others and build up a team before they can qualify for commissions.
OnPassive operates in the advertising industry and when you join, they’ll help you generate traffic from within the site itself by allowing you to advertise to all the other members of the program.
Company Overview
OnPassive is still in its pre-launch stage but the program is presently hosted on “GoFounders.com”
Although the domain name “onpassive.com” has generated a listing, we will go ahead and focus on the GoFounders website and other relevant company information as they are apparently behind OnPassive’s launch.
Our search shows that the domain name “gofounders.com” was registered privately. Therefore, there is no additional information available. However, we found that the GoFounders website was registered in 2018.
OnPassive Company Owners
We discovered that Ash Mufareh is the CEO and founder of OnPassive. Further information from his Linkedin profile and Facebook page describes him as the CEO of GFI Fusion. They are a team that markets the GDI opportunity. This opportunity is in the domain name and hosting niche and also offers MLM investments.
Strangely, Mufareh has a history of involvement with passive opportunity companies that don’t seem to end well.
Starting with TelexFree, this company was shut down by the SEC in 2014. Thereafter, the company was sued and the issues resulted in a massive legal mess.
Another company that Mufareh was involved in is PayDiamond. This one was also shut down in 2018. OnPassive was created after the closure of PayDiamond.
OnPassive Products
Based on what we have seen from their marketing videos and documentation, OnPassive will not be offering any retailable products or services. After signing up, affiliate members will get access to what they're calling “ad credits.”
Affiliates can then use these ad credits to advertise their websites on the OnPassive platform itself to an audience of OnPassive members only. We also saw that there will be some sort of online training, though that information will probably become clearer after the launch.
OnPassive Compensation Plan Breakdown
Let’s look at their compensation plans and how affiliates earn money on each plan.
OnPassive offers a different kind of MLM opportunity. When they eventually launch, their compensation plan will work based on an MLM matrix with affiliates earning recurring commissions.
Affiliates will have access to a recurring subscription and they will be earning commissions from any of the matrix tiers residually.
This is an interesting model and we think that if things are set up properly and the opportunity adheres to MLM laws and regulations, it might actually work for the members, but we shall see in time.
The MLM Compensation Plan
Here’s how OnPassive’s MLM Cycler works.
OnPassive offers its affiliates positions in its 4X3 by 10 MLM matrices, so to sign up, you’ll need to purchase positions in these matrices.
Once that is done, the next step is to fill up your matrix. This happens via sponsoring from your upline or through direct and indirect sponsoring from you as well.
In each matrix, at the uppermost level, there are 3 positions. These positions are doubled on the next level to produce 9 spots and doubled again and again until the matrix grows to 10 levels.
As more people take up spots in your matrix, you’ll be entitled to receive commissions on these spots.
Positions on each level are filled from both sides – left and right. As new members join, they’ll need to start and grow their own matrix, but their efforts will contribute to commissions that are payable to you.
How Each OnPassive Matrix Works
1) The $25 Matrix Tier
Affiliates will pay $25 to join this matrix. Thereafter, they will be entitled to the following:
- Level 1 – each active affiliate that fills a spot gets $2.
- Level 2 – each active affiliate that fills a spot gets $3.
- Level 3 – each active affiliate that fills a spot gets $2.
- Levels 1 through 8 – each active affiliate that fills a spot gets $1.
- Level 9 – each active affiliate that fills a spot gets $2.
- Level 10 – each active affiliate that fills a spot gets $1.
2) The $125 Matrix Tier
Affiliates will pay $125 to join this matrix. Thereafter, they will be entitled to the following:
- Level 1 – each active affiliate that fills a spot gets $10.
- Level 2 – each active affiliate that fills a spot gets $15.
- Level 3 – each active affiliate that fills a spot gets $7.
- Levels 4 and 5 – each active affiliate that fills a spot gets $5.
- Level 6 – each active affiliate that fills a spot gets $3.
- Level 7 – each active affiliate that fills a spot gets $2.
- Levels 8 and 9 – each active affiliate that fills a spot gets $3.
- Level 10 – each active affiliate that fills a spot gets $2.
3) The $250 Matrix Tier
Affiliates will pay $250 to join this matrix. Thereafter, they will be entitled to the following:
- Level 1 – each active affiliate that fills a spot gets $10.
- Level 2 – each active affiliate that fills a spot gets $25.
- Level 3 – each active affiliate that fills a spot gets $10.
- Levels 4 and 6 – each active affiliate that fills a spot gets $8.
- Levels 7 and 8 – each active affiliate that fills a spot gets $7.
- Levels 9 and 10 – each active affiliate that fills a spot gets $8.
4) The $500 Matrix Tier
Affiliates will pay $500 to join this matrix. Thereafter, they will be entitled to the following:
- Level 1 – each active affiliate that fills a spot gets $20.
- Level 2 – each active affiliate that fills a spot gets $30.
- Levels 3 through 5 – each active affiliate that fills a spot gets $15.
- Levels 6 and 7 – each active affiliate that fills a spot gets $10.
- Levels 8 and 9 – each active affiliate that fills a spot gets $15.
- Level 10 – each active affiliate that fills a spot gets $10.
Affiliates will need to pay monthly to remain eligible for their commissions. They will also receive residual commissions for each active affiliate member in their matrix.
At this point, you’ll probably have some questions about all we’ve discussed so far about OnPassive. We will answer them below:
Most commonly asked questions
How much does it cost to join OnPassive?
From the available pre-launch information, we can see that founders can purchase positions for $97. Although they don’t specify what this money is for, we expect that it enables founders to get a spot on the matrix tiers.
We expect that after the pre-launch stage, investment in OnPassive will cost:
- $25 Matrix tier commissions – $25 monthly.
- $125 Matrix tier commissions – $125 monthly.
- $250 Matrix tier commissions – $250 monthly.
- $500 Matrix tier commissions – $500 monthly.
Has OnPassive been accredited with the Better Business Bureau (BBB)?
As of the time of writing this review, OnPassive is not yet accredited with the BBB. This could partly be because the company is still new. Even then it may still take quite some time before they are accredited.
Note that lacking BBB accreditation does not immediately label a company as a scam. It could simply be that they are not listed as of that time, which is the case with OnPassive for now.
Our Verdict about OnPassive
By now, you’re probably wondering what our verdict is – do we think OnPassive is offering a legitimate Business Opportunity or is this another attempt to scam people? Well, from the facts we have gathered so far, we cannot really arrive at a decision yet about OnPassive.
Right now, from the information that we have been able to gather, OnPassive offers an alleged advertising platform, that you can only access once you become an affiliate member.
Going by FTC regulations, to stay compliant with the law, MLM companies should include retail products in their offer. We shall see what OnPassive adds to their products in the coming months leading up to their launch.
Based on all the information we have analyzed and presented in this review, you should be in the best position now to decide if what OnPassive is offering the kind of opportunity that would interest you or not.
