PHP Agency operates in the insurance MLM niche. It was launched in 2009.
The company has its base in Texas. It is led by Patrick Bet-David, CEO and Founder.
Assumingly, after a stint at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, Bet-David started promoting himself as a financial advisor.
As per wiki, Bet-David joined the army after high school.
He launched a website in 2009 named Saving America. He also launched a radio show broadcast in Los Angeles that supported entrepreneurship and educated people on fiscal responsibility.
In the same year, he started a financial services agency. It offered debt settlements, term and permanent insurance, and 401(k) rollovers into indexed annuities named PHP Agency.
Prior to finding PHP Agency, Bet-David doesn’t appear to have any MLM experience.
Bet-David also manages a moderately successful YouTube channel called Valuetainment,.
PHP Agency Products
PHP Agency calls itself a national financial services marketing company.
These are the services provided on the website of PHP Agency:
- Term life insurance
- Return-of-premium term life insurance
- Indexed universal life insurance
- No-medical exam life insurance and
- Fixed indexed annuity
Brief descriptions of each service are provided by PHP Agency but you don’t see any pricing guidelines.
The leading carrier partners stated in the PHP Agency marketing material are: Allianz, AIG, Nationwide, National Life Group, Foresters Financial, National Western, and American National. However, they are not disclosed on its website.
Assumingly, they are the providers of services advertised by PHP Agency’s.

PHP Agency Compensation Plan
As and when the affiliates sell insurance services PHP Agency pay them commissions.
Affiliate Ranks of PHP Agency
There are 11 ranks within the PHP Agency compensation plan.
- Trainee: Join as affiliate to fulfill week one in the system flow of PHP
- Associate: Enlist 3 affiliates, generate 3 sales and at least 3000 GV monthly
- Field associate: Attain an insurance license, employ and preserve at least 15 affiliates (1 Associate), generate 15 sales and at least 30,000 GV monthly
- Director: Employ and preserve at least 30 affiliates (2 Field Associates or 1 Field Associate and 2 Associates. 6 of your recruits have to be licensed), generate 30 sales and at least 60,000 GV monthly
- Marketing director: Employ and preserve at least 50 affiliates (3 Field Associates or 1 Director and 1 Field Associate. 15 of your recruits must also be licensed and appointed), generate 50 sales and at least 100,000 GV monthly
- Senior marketing director: Enlist and uphold at least 100 affiliates (2 Marketing Directors, 60 recruits of yours must be licensed), generate 100 sales and at least 200,000 GV monthly
- Executive marketing director: Enlist and uphold at least 200 affiliates (4 Marketing Directors. 120 recruits of yours must be licensed), make 200 sales and at least 400,000 GV monthly
- Senior vice president Employ and uphold at least 300 affiliates (6 Marketing Directors. 180 recruits of yours must be licensed), generate 300 sales and at least 600,000 GV monthly
- Executive Vice President: Employ and preserve at least 400 affiliates (8 Marketing Directors. 240 of your recruits must be licensed), generate 400 sales and at least 800,000 GV monthly
- President’s Council: Employ and preserve at least 500 affiliates (10 Marketing Directors. 300 of your recruits must be licensed), generate 500 sales and at least 1,000,000 GV monthly
- Chairman’s Council Employ and preserve at least 600 affiliates (12 Marketing Directors. 600 of your recruits must be licensed), generate 600 sales and at least 1,200,000 GV monthly
GV indicates PHP Agency Group Volume. It is sales volume produced by the sale of insurance services by an affiliate and their downline.
Requisite GV at each rank is capped at 50% which is derived from any 1 unilevel team leg.
Direct Commission Rates
The direct commission rates are given out by PHP Agency on insurance services sale based on rank:
- Trainees earn 30%
- Associates earn 40%
- Field Associates earn 50%
- Directors earn 60%
- Marketing Directors earn 75%
- Senior Marketing Directors earn 77%
- Executive Marketing Directors earn 78%
- Senior Vice Presidents earn 79%
- Executive Vice Presidents earn 80%
- President’s Council affiliates earn 81%
- Chairman’s Council affiliates earn 82%
Direct Commission Bonus
As a bonus, an extra PHP Agency direct commission of 40% is given out.
- enlist 10 affiliates, have had 25 potential applications filled and get 25,000 GV = 5% bonus
- enlist 25 affiliates, have had 25 potential applications filled and get 50,000 GV = 10% bonus
- employ 50 affiliates, have had 50 potential applications filled and get 100,000 GV = 20% bonus
- enlist 100 affiliates, have had 100 potential applications filled and get 200,000 GV = 30% bonus
- employ 150 affiliates, have had 150 potential applications filled and get 300,000 GV = 40% bonus
In the PHP Agency compensation plan, applications are stated as base applications.
There is no explanation provided.
Generation Bonus
A Generation Bonus is paid by PHP Agency through a unilevel compensation structure.
An PHP Agency affiliate is placed at the top of a unilevel team by the unilevel compensation structure. Each personally enlisted affiliate is placed under them directly at level 1.
As and when a level 1 affiliate employs fresh affiliates, they are put on level 2 of the original affiliate’s unilevel team.
As and when a level 2 affiliate enlists fresh affiliates, they are put on level 3 and so on. The levels are infinite.
Generations within a unilevel team are defined by PHP Agency every time a Marketing Director is established in a unilevel leg.
The first generation is capped by the 1st Marketing Director present. The 2nd begins immediately after.
The second generation is capped by the 2nd Marketing Director and so on.
In cases where there is no 2nd Marketing Director, the 2nd generation expands down the full length of the leg.
It is the same for higher generations in a leg which a Marketing Director does not cap.
PHP Agency gives out a Generation Bonus utilizing this generational definition, on up to 7 generations for each unilevel leg.
- 10% on the 1st generation
- 5% on the 2nd generation
- 4% on the 3rd generation
- 3% on the 4th generation
- 1% on the 5th, 6th, and 7th generations
The affiliates of PHP Agency can make a bonus 5% 1st generation rate is they have
- Ten personally enlisted affiliates
- Twenty five potential applications filles and
- 25,000 GV monthly
The generation estimate for every PHP Agency unilevel leg is done separately from the other unilevel legs.
Recognition and Rewards
The compensation plan of PHP Agency states a ring costing $100K a watch costing $50K. There are no qualification criteria.

Patrick Bet-David is up-to-date as the founder of a YouTube channel with 700,000+ subscribers. However, the absence of revelation to potential affiliates and customers on the website of PHP Agency is unforgivable.
It is impossible for potential affiliates of PHP Agency to evaluate the opportunity.
The primary concern of the compensation plan is that affiliates of PHP Agency are asked to buy at least 1 insurance service. It pops up again and again when you research.
The required sales at every rank in PHP Agency intentionally overlap with requisite affiliate recruits.
When affiliates have to buy an insurance service, by default they will have the same number of services sold as affiliates recruited.
There is no incentive to focus on retail sales for affiliates of PHP Agency. By just focusing on recruiting new affiliates, they get the same financial benefit.
As a potential affiliate, you have to dig out how many active non-affiliate insurance service subscriptions the person trying to employ you presently has.
