Procrastination is said to be one of the most deadly conditions.
It can take a heavy toll on people who practice it. Not surprising, its price on success and happiness is heavy.
Incidentally, what does the word procrastination mean? Incidentally, if we were to split the Latin words pro (for) and cras (tomorrow), it plainly implies to leave something for tomorrow. In other words, it means to postpone something that we were to do now, and to leave it for tomorrow!
Has it ever happened to you? Well it certainly happened to us. And, we are sure that all of us have gone through this phase some time in our career.
That is one of the reasons why we have decided to break out from our routine affiliate marketing posts, and write a post on procrastination. If you were to wait until all the lights are “green” before you leave home, you will never make it to the top in affiliate marketing.
We hope that this inspires and motivates as many newbie affiliate marketers out there.
Stop procrastination, because procrastination can kill your happiness.
You must realize that not all your actions will be perfect in your road to achieving your goal. It is not necessary that every action may come up with the desired result. Don’t be surprised when every action you come with, does not work. Affiliate marketing is all about making mistakes, coping with failures and perhaps even getting it almost right. It also means experimenting to see what happens. This is all part of the process of eventually getting it right. Failures are just another word for experience.
If you' happen to be a car salesman, and a potential buyer comes up to you and says that your car is a piece of junk, and that he has no intentions of buying it. Does this imply that the person has something against you and that he or she hates you? No! It simply means that they do not like the product that you are trying to market to them. The mistake most people make is that they try to take everything personally, as they are so duty bound to their marketing process.
Well, let us tell you that the happy people out there are those who have conquered procrastination. They have broken its chains and find tremendous satisfaction in doing things within the specified time limit. It can be any job, but they are eager, productive, and full of zest.
If you ask us to put this in perspective, the below advert from pathology lab sums it up beautifully.
It may be piss and shit for you, but it is bread and butter for us!
