Trevo Review
Trevo started back in 2010 and works in MLM (specifically the nutritional supplement niche).
This company operates in Oklahoma, and its headed by Mark and Holli Stevens (President/CEO and Director of Finance).
The corporate bio for Mark Steven says he's a successful person, with experience as business owner, entrepreneur, motivational speaker, author, and humanitarian.
Similarly, the corporate bio for Holli Stevens’ states she's many accomplishments as a businesswoman. She's earned national recognition as a salesperson in the industry.
Ms. Stevens received numerous sales awards after creating millions of dollars in sales over her business career.
Before working in Trevo, Mark and Holli were the heads of Vision For Life. An MLM focused on the natural supplement niche which they both founded in 98.
Vision For Life worked in the same product range to Trevo. The big difference between the two is that Trevo has a more global presence.
Our research didn't find the reason for Vision For Life's reboot. Nevertheless, Trevo got involved in a laundering scam in Nigeria last year.
On a similar note, according to the FBI various money scams – related to online dating websites – point to Trevo. People's loses add up to at least a million dollars.
Because of this, the FBI seized $610,800 from Trevo account at Wells Fargo Bank in Oklahoma. Stevens denied that he was under investigation.
Trevo Products
Trevo offers products on retail, one of those products is their juice, named after the company (Trevo2Go). The marketing material says it doesn't have any ‘harmful chemicals and contains 174 nutraceutical ingredients'
The juice guarantees renewal and healthy energy for anyone that drinks it. Trevo does a good job at convincing people about the product in the company's 52-page booklet.
Trevo website offers two bottle juice options on retail:
- one 32 oz bottle costs $59.99
- two 32 oz bottles cost $109.99
Trevo's website also offers a “2-Ounce Trévo2Go” bottle, but we couldn't purchase it for some reason, maybe it's because we're in the US.
The Compensation Plan
Trevo gives members rewards for selling their juice to customers. Trevo Members also get paid for recruiting, and this payment works through an eight-level uni-level tree.
The Trevo compensation plan has 21 member ranks, they go like this (with the respective criteria)
- To get Affiliate rank, anyone can sign up as a Trevo member and buy a PowerStart Enrollment kit (PS)

Something to note: From Yellow Diamond Elite Rank onwards, 20,000 GV is counted from any leg in the tree. Also, from White Diamond Rank onwards, 50,000 GV is counted from any leg in the Trevo tree.
A bit of a reminder, GV means “Group Volume,” that's the sales volume created by a Trevo's member downline including self-purchases.
Trevo pays its members for selling bottles of Trevo to retail customers through a uni-level structure. The Trevo structure puts a member at the top of a uni-level tree, and direct recruits are put beneath him/her.
If a Trevo level one member recruits, they go to level two of the uni-level tree. If a Trevo level two member recruits, they go to level three, this goes on infinitely depending on the level requirement.
Retail Commissions
Trevo places a limit on payable levels at eight. Retail commissions pan out like this:
- When a member retail sales one bottle of Trevo, he/she makes a $12 commission on direct retail customers (Level 1) and $1.70 from levels 2 to 8.
- When a member retail sales two bottles of Trevo, he/she makes a $22 commission on direct retail customers (Level 1) and $3.25 from levels 2 to 8.
Trevo Residual retail commissions payments go out on monthly orders by preferential customers (preferred):
- Orders of one bottle processed by a preferred customer with autoship generates a $9.60 commission on level 1 (direct customers) and $1.55 from levels 2 to 8
- Orders of two bottles processed by a preferred customer with autoship generates a $18 commission on level 1 (direct customers) and $2.90 from levels 2 to 8
- Orders of four bottles processed by a preferred customer with autoship generates a $33.6 commission on level 1 (direct customers) and $5.45 from levels 2 to 8
- Orders of six bottles processed by a preferred customer with autoship generates a $50.60 commission on level 1 (direct customers) and $8.15 from levels 2 to 8
- Orders of fifteen bottles of 2Go processed by a preferred customer with autoship generates a $9 commission on level 1 (direct customers) and $8.15 from levels 2 to 8
- Orders of thirty bottles of 2Go processed by a preferred customer with autoship generates a $16.80 commission on level 1 (direct customers) and $8.15 from levels 2 to 8
Trevo members get paid for recruitment through the same uni-level structure we mentioned for retail commissions.
After a Trevo member signs up, he/she purchases a PowerStart (PS) Enrollment kit.
Each PS Kit creates commissions across eight levels of the Trevo uni-level tree:
- If you recruit a PS1 member, you get $12 on level 1 (direct recruits), $3 on level 2, $2 on levels 3 and 4 and $1 on levels 5 to 8
- If you recruit a PS2 member, you get $40 on level 1, $10 on level 2, $8 on levels 3 and 4, $2 on levels 5 and 6 and $1 on levels 7 and 8
- If you recruit a PS3 member, you get $72 on level 1, $17 on level 2, $12 on level 3, $8 on level 4, $4 on levels 5 and 6 and $2 on levels 7 and 8
- If you recruit a PS4 member, you get $100 on level 1, $24 on level 2, $17 on level 3, $13 on level 4, $5 on levels 5 and 6 and $3 on levels 7 and 8
- If you recruit a PS5 member, you get $161 on level 1, $39 on level 2, $28 on level 3, $19 on level 4, $8 on levels 5 and 6 and $4 on levels 7 and 8
- If you recruit a PS6 member, you get $228 on level 1, $55 on level 2, $40 on level 3, $27 on level 4, $12 on levels 5 and 6 and $5 on levels 7 and 8
Trevo Members can get a rate that corresponds with the PS kit they purchased. Because of this, Trevo's recruitment commissions are coded. If there's a difference, it goes to the first upline member at his/her rank.
Trevo Members can upgrade their PS kit level. Consequently, this upgrades residual commissions as well – which is also coded – through the Trevo uni-level structure.
Residual Commissions
Residual commissions about sales volume are paid through the uni-level tree. The number of levels a member gets paid for depends on his/her PV production:
- If a member creates 34 PV a month, he/she receives residual commissions on level 1 (direct recruits)
- If a member creates 72 PV a month, he/she receives residual commissions on levels 1 to 3
- If a member creates 100 PV a month, he/she receives residual commissions on levels 1 to 5
- If a member creates 200 PV a month or more, he/she receives residual commissions on every available level
Note: PV means “Personal Volume” and is essentially the sales volume created by personal sales and the member's purchases.
Trevo calculates residual commissions depending on product purchases like the following:
- Selling one bottle of Trevo gives a $2.72 commission throughout levels 1 and 2 and $1.75 throughout levels 3 to 8
- Selling two bottles of Trevo gives a $5.50 commission throughout levels 1 and 2 and $3 throughout levels 3 to 8
- Selling one case of Trevo gives a $7 commission throughout levels 1 and 2 and $5 throughout levels 3 to 8
- Selling one case and one bottle of Trevo gives a $9.25 commission throughout levels 1 and 2 and $6.50 throughout levels 3 to 8
- Selling two cases of Trevo gives a $15 commission throughout levels 1 and 2 and $10 throughout levels 3 to 8
Trevo rewards members $500 after they achieve Bronze and Platinum Executive ranks for the first time.
Here are the additional requirements to qualify for the Bronze bonus:
- A member has to accumulate two months time after the sign-up.
- A member must recruit a minimum of three members who made GV
- A member has to meet the GV quota from two or more individual legs of the uni-level tree.
Here are the additional requirements to qualify for Platinum Executive bonus:
- A member has to accumulate four months time after the sign-up.
- A member must recruit a minimum of nine members who made GV
- A member has to meet the GV quota from two or more individual legs of the uni-level tree or completely from the downlines of five direct recruits.
Trevo takes 15% of company's revenue and puts it into fifteen bonus pools separately. Members get a share in each of the pools, starting at the Amethyst rank.
Car Bonus
Trevo members that generate 1,000,000 GV a month or more can opt in for a monthly Car Bonus that goes up to $1000.
These are the car brands approved: Audi, BMW, Jaguar, Lexus, Mercedes, and Range Rover.
The Car Bonus qualification criteria looks like this:
- If a member creates 45,000 GV a month throughout a minimum of three uni-level legs, he/she gets a $550 Car Bonus
- If a member creates 55,000 GV a month throughout a minimum of three uni-level legs, he/she gets a $750 Car Bonus
- If a member creates 65,000 GV a month throughout a minimum of four uni-level legs, he/she gets a $1000 Car Bonus
Half of the required GV has to come from the first eight levels of the tree, up to 20,000 GV comes from any uni-level leg.
Joining In
Membership for Trevo costs $20 along with the purchase of a PS kit:
- PowerStart1: 1 Bottle System costs $72
- PowerStart2: PowerStart System costs $170
- PowerStart2: Exposure Pack costs $170
- PowerStart3: Director PowerStart System costs $302
- PowerStart4: Elite Director PowerStart System costs $425
- PowerStart5: Executive PowerStart System costs $665
- PowerStart6: Elite Executive PowerStart System costs $980
The main difference between the kits is the number of Trevo bottles included and the income potential.
The Final Word on Trevo
It's strange that Trevo doesn't show on their website any pricings on retail products. People can only see the pricing for the bottles of juice.
Trevo relies on reselling products, as they offer “bulk packs” of 36 bottles – at the cost of $1224 – to members.
Leaving consumption aside, a member has to sell of purchase products so he/she can qualify for commissions.
The company doesn't mention anything in their compensation plan about selling bulk packs (or any incentive for that matter).
Another thing that Trevo fails to mention is matching retail sales volume. There isn't requirement of this kind.
Trevo's recruitment commissions are tied to product purchases. The big problem is that retail customers won't buy enrolment kits unless they're Trevos' members themselves.
If Trevo doesn't recruit, they couldn't pay for commissions (product sales generates a commission).
When you think about it, every new rectruit has to spend a lot of money so that they have income potential – if it ever happens, there's no guarantee –
It becomes clear when a member signs up or upgrades by purchasing a PS kit (each one costs more than the previous one)
In theory, Income potential is attached to sales performance, not the amount of money a member gives as they sign up.
This gimmick is called “pay to play” and regulators don't like it. Which reminds me, Trevo was in legal problems in the past before for scam.
If a local US regulator investigates Trevo, those two components will be seen as red flags.
Letting legal talk aside, what Trevo does is selling a $60 bottle of juice. They claim that this juice has 174 ingredients, which makes me wonder if it's even worth it, spending that much for juice is rather steep.
Remember, if a company doesn't have a clear past and the way they operate could alarm SEC regulators, it may be a good idea to stay away from these opportunities, unless you have a lot of money to spare and really don't care who you're giving it to.
