The Compensation Plan of Appi Travels
The affiliates of Appi Travels pay a fee to sign up. Commissions and bonuses are given out when they enlist others who do the same.
Recruitment Commissions
The affiliates of Appi Travels get a direct recruitment commission per affiliate they personally recruit:
- Recruit an Explorer affiliate ($75) to get a $25 recruitment commission
- Recruit a Traveler affiliate ($250) to get a $100 recruitment commission
- Recruit a Navigator affiliate ($550) to get a $250 recruitment commission
A 100% match is also paid on recruitment commissions to the first upline (the affiliate who recruited the recruiting affiliate).
Residual Recruitment Commissions
In Appi Travels residual recruitment commissions are given out via a perpetual 1-up compensation structure. This structure is tracked via a unilevel team.
An affiliate is placed at the top of a unilevel team by a unilevel compensation structure. Every personally recruited affiliate is placed directly under them (level 1).
When any level 1 affiliate recruits new affiliates, they are placed on level 2 of the original affiliate’s unilevel team.
When any level 2 affiliate recruits new affiliates, they are placed on level 3 and so on down a theoretical infinite number of levels.
Each 2nd affiliate recruited into the first level of the unilevel team is passed up to an Appi Travel affiliate’s immediately upline (the affiliate who recruited them).
In the entire unilevel team, every affiliate passes up commissions earned from every second affiliate recruited.
Residual commissions given out are the same as direct recruitment commissions:
- Explorer affiliates create a $25 residual commission
- Traveler affiliates create a $100 residual commission
- Navigator affiliates create a $250 residual commission
Appi Fund
Appi Fund sees Appi Travels affiliates able to take part in cash gifting.
- Explorer affiliates buy in for $25
- Traveler affiliates buy in for $100 and
- Navigator affiliates buy in for $250
Appi Travels gifting payments are tracked via a 2×2 matrix.
Appi Travels affiliates are placed at the top of a matrix by a 2×2 matrix places. Two positions are directly placed under them.
The two positions form the 1st level of the matrix. The 2nd level of the matrix is created by splitting these first 2 positions into another 2 positions each (4 positions).
Positions in the matrix are filled as new and existing affiliates of Appi Travels make their own gifting payments.
Payments made by the 2 affiliates at level 1 are passed up. Payments created on the 2nd level of the matrix (4 positions) are retained.
The sum total of these payments is determined by what affiliate tier an affiliate of Appi Travels has bought in at:
- Explorer affiliates get $75 plus a new matrix position
- Traveler affiliates get $300 plus a new matrix position
- Navigator affiliates get $750 plus a new matrix position
Travel Points
All 3 affiliate memberships of Appi Travels generate travel points:
- Explorer generates 250 travel points
- Traveler and Navigator generates 500 points
Travel points can be put towards purchased travel via the Appi Travels booking engine.
The affiliates of Appi Travels also get a 100% match on travel points created through direct and residual affiliate recruitment (only on passed up affiliates).

Appi Travels Membership
The affiliate membership of Appi Travels costs between $75 and $550:
- Explorer : $75
- Traveler : $250
- Navigator : $550
The main difference between the above membership tiers is income potential through the Appi Travels compensation plan.
Summing Up
Appi Travels still has nothing to do with travel.
The name of the game is still affiliate recruitment.
Appi Travels has added cash gifting to its compensation plan since its launch.
The affiliates of Appi Travels pay a gifting fee Billed as “Appi Fund”, and then receive gifting payments from other affiliates.
The affiliates can receive 100% donations from other affiliates.
The gifting payments will enable affiliates of Appi Travels to “travel the world for free.” However, from the perspective of a regulatory compliance what gifting payments are used for is irrelevant.
Seemingly, Nigeria is at present the sole market keeping Danny Gauthier’s scamming alive.
When Appi Travels introduced its cash gifting component, Gauthier was in Nigeria to personally market it.
As per Alexa estimate, Nigeria makes up 88% of traffic to the Appi Travels website.
The longevity of cash gifting scams hinges on affiliate recruitment as with pyramid schemes.
If that slows down, the majority of the affiliates of Appi Travels will find themselves in stalled matrices.
This will see them not able to steal back what they spent on matrix positions, furthermore, to losses incurred through the initial affiliate fee.
